I bring together everything I'm certified and trained in — FRC mobility science, yoga, cycle syncing, nervous system regulation, nourishment strategy, herbal wellness, and low-tox salon practices — and build something that actually fits your life. Not a prototype. Your plan.

-- What We Work On Together

Four foundations.
one

sustainable

career.

Functional Movement + FRC Mobility

🧬

The foundation of everything. Based on Functional Range Conditioning — the same science used by professional athletes — applied directly to the movement demands of standing behind a chair all day. This is not stretching. This is joint health, tissue capacity, and long-term structural resilience.

  • FRC-based joint preparation for wrists, shoulders, hips, and spine
  • Pre-shift activation routines (as little as 10–15 minutes)
  • Post-shift decompression sequences for real recovery
  • Postural correction work specific to stylist mechanics
  • Progressive loading to build capacity over time — not just manage symptoms

Nourishment + Toxic Load Reduction

🥗

What you eat and what you're exposed to directly affects your energy, your hormones, your pain levels, and how long you can sustain this career. We work on both — what goes in and what you can reduce going on.
  • Fueling strategies built around a stylist's actual day — no lunch break, back-to-back clients
  • Anti-inflammatory nutrition that reduces joint pain and fatigue
  • Reducing chemical toxic load in your salon environment
  • Clean product swaps that are budget-friendly and realistic
  • Herbal support for adrenal fatigue, hormone balance, and recovery

Functional Movement + FRC Mobility

🧬

Nervous System Regulation + Herbal Wellness

🫁

Eight hours of continuous social engagement, physical labor, chemical exposure, and emotional holding is an enormous load on your nervous system. Most stylists never address it — and wonder why they feel depleted, irritable, and burnt out. This is where we change that.

  • Understanding your nervous system state and how it shows up behind the chair
  • Practical regulation tools for between clients and after shifts
  • Breathwork and somatic practices for real decompression
  • Herbal adaptogens and plant medicine for stress and recovery
  • Budget-friendly DIY herbal teas, tinctures, and rituals

Cycle Syncing + Hormone Awareness

🌸

Your hormonal cycle is one of the most powerful tools you're not using. When you understand it — and schedule around it — burnout stops being inevitable and starts being something you actively prevent.

  • Mapping your cycle to your booking schedule and creative work
  • Understanding energy, focus, and recovery in each phase
  • What to eat, how to move, and how much to book in each phase
  • Reducing PMS, fatigue, and hormonal burnout naturally
  • Long-term menstrual cycle literacy for career longevity

-- HOW COACHING WORKS

Simple.

Personal.

Real.

5

The goal of coaching is never dependency — it's independence. By the end of our time together, you'll have the tools, the knowledge, and the habits to maintain this on your own. Because a career that lasts shouldn't require a coach forever. It should require a solid foundation.

Results That Actually Last

4

Coaching doesn't happen just in our sessions. You'll have access to messaging support, movement resources, and accountability check-ins between calls. When you have a long Thursday and your back is screaming — you'll know exactly what to do, and I'll be there if you need me.

Ongoing Support Between Sessions

3

We meet regularly to check in on how your plan is feeling, adjust as needed, add new tools as you build capacity, and troubleshoot anything that comes up behind the chair or in life. This is collaborative — you tell me what's working and what isn't, and we refine from there.

Weekly Coaching + Implementation

1

Fill out a short application so I understand where you are, what you're experiencing, and what you're hoping to change. If it feels like a good fit, we'll schedule a no-pressure discovery call to talk through your goals and determine if coaching is the right next step for you right now.

Apply + Discovery Call

2

Before we begin, you complete a comprehensive wellness intake covering your movement history, current pain points, schedule, nutrition, hormonal patterns, salon environment, and goals. I use this to build your personalized plan — covering all four pillars at a pace that's realistic for your life.

Deep-Dive Intake + Plan Creation

-- Is This Right for You?

Coaching is for you

if...

This might not be the right fit if...

  • You're looking for a quick fix or a single program with no ongoing support
  • You're not ready to invest real time in implementation (15 min/day matters)
  • You want someone to give you a plan and leave you alone with it
  • You're not open to looking at nutrition, environment, and nervous system — just movement

This is for you if...

  • You love this industry and want to be in it for decades, not years
  • You're experiencing pain, fatigue, or burnout and know something has to change
  • You're ready for a real plan — not more information you don't implement
  • You want to feel good in your body behind the chair, not just survive your shifts
  • You're curious about cycle syncing, FRC, nervous system work, or herbal wellness but don't know where to start
  • You want someone who has actually done this work and can show you how

Four foundations.
One

sustainable

career.

🧬

FRC-based joint preparation and mobility work taught in real time — with Emily watching how each person moves and providing individual corrections. Not one-size-fits-all instruction. Actual personalized feedback.

Movement That Actually Works

🪑

Specific postural corrections for the way your team actually stands, reaches, and works. Small adjustments to stance, tool positioning, and client height that prevent years of cumulative injury.

Ergonomics Behind the Chair

Practical, actionable guidance on fueling a long shift — what to prep, what to keep at the station, what to avoid, and how to eat in a way that sustains energy without crashes or afternoon brain fog.

Nourishment Strategy for Long Days

🥗

🫁

Tools for managing overstimulation between clients and after shifts — breathwork, regulation techniques, and simple practices that prevent the cumulative exhaustion that drives so many stylists out of the industry.

Nervous System Literacy

🌿

An honest look at chemical load in the salon environment, simple swaps that reduce daily exposure without overhauling your product menu, and how to start having this conversation with clients.

Low-Tox Salon Practices

Stylists who feel cared for stay. A salon that invests in its team's physical and mental wellbeing builds loyalty, reduces turnover, and creates a culture that top talent actually wants to be part of.

-- Workshop FAQs

Common

questions.

Minimal setup required. You'll need open floor space for movement work (styling chairs can be pushed back temporarily), access to the salon environment for ergonomics discussion, and your team in comfortable clothes they can move in. Emily brings all education materials and resources.

What does the salon need to have ready?

Book a workshop
Based in Kansas City, Emily travels regionally and nationally for workshops. Travel fees apply for locations outside the Kansas City metro area. Reach out with your location and we'll discuss logistics and pricing.

How far will you travel for an on-site workshop?

Workshops are most effective with teams of 4–20 people. Smaller groups allow for more individual feedback — which is where the real value lives. For larger teams, we can discuss a split-day format. The goal is never to pack the room; it's to make sure every person walks away with something real.

How many people can be in a workshop?

Yes — always. Every workshop starts with a brief needs assessment conversation. If your team is most concerned with wrist and shoulder pain, we weight that heavily. If burnout and nervous system regulation are the priority, we lean there. The curriculum flexes around your team's actual needs.

Can we customize what topics are covered?

Yes. All workshop attendees receive a resource guide they can reference ongoing. Follow-up support packages and recurring workshop series are also available for salons that want to build this into a regular part of their culture.
